Virtual Security Monitoring Agent – US Operations based in Manila, Philippines

24/7 Operations Coverage (Rotating / Shift-Based)

Position Overview The Virtual Security Monitoring Agent provides continuous, 24/7 surveillance, asset tracking, and incident escalation across high-value logistics operations and facilities. Serving as a primary point of contact for real-time security events, this role ensures swift response to fleet alerts, facility breaches, and third-party transport risks while maintaining operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Asset & Logistics Tracking Perform real-time, persistent tracking of fleet assets using Samsara GPS, asset tags, and labeled asset categories.

Acquire, audit, and monitor live third-party logistics (3PL) tracking links from external carriers (e.g., Matson, TQL).

Maintain updated fleet lists and monitor Samsara label categorizations to ensure accurate visibility.

Alert Monitoring & Incident Escalation Monitor, triage, and respond immediately to high-priority system alerts, including long stops, excessive idling, low/dead batteries, device tampering, signal jamming, and panic button activations.

Execute strict security and safety escalation protocols, including camera verification, driver/supervisor outreach, and law enforcement notification.

Perform routine ID scanner audits and camera health checks to ensure operational readiness across facilities.

Facility Security & Operations Support Manage facility alarm triggers, access control systems, and alarm pin/code assignments.

Work with security technology vendors (e.g., Eagle Eye Networks) to troubleshoot and resolve hardware or system malfunctions promptly.

Coordinate on-site security guard dispatch and emergency operational coverage during system outages or critical events.

Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Emergency Response Planning (ERP) execution during active incidents.

Core Qualifications & Skills Experience:

2+ years in security operations center (SOC), virtual monitoring, corporate security, or logistics dispatch environments.

Technical Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with telematics platforms (Samsara), VMS platforms (Eagle Eye Networks or equivalent), and 3PL tracking systems.

Analytical Skills:

Strong ability to make rapid, level-headed decisions during high-stress incident escalations.

Communication:

Clear oral and written communication skills for operational handoffs, incident reporting, and stakeholder outreach.

Flexibility:

Capability to work rotating shifts, weekends, or aligned 5-day schedules with cross-team handover support.

Logistics industry experience preferred.
