Warehouse Associate 1st Shift and 2nd Shift

Position Overview:

Amcon Laboratories Inc, is currently seeking a warehouse associate to join our team onsite as we believe our employees are the biggest assets we have. The Warehouse Associate processes orders for our customers through a variety of functions including picking, packing, and shipping. The work schedule for 1st shift is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You will earn $16.00 an hour. The work schedule for 2nd shift is Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 12:45 am. You will earn $16.00 an hour plus $1.50 for shift differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Picking warehouse inventory based on approved orders.
  • Packaging ordered items securely to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
  • Final inspection and sealing of orders to prepare package for shipment.
  • Use electronic devices (handheld scanner) to process orders.
  • Able to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day, including periodically climbing ladders.
  • Ability to stock product, weighing up to 50 pounds, on shelving at various heights.
  • Load boxes in truck weighing up to 65 pounds multiple times a day.

Qualifications:

  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions without close oversight.
  • Effective, clear communicator within the team.

Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Warehouse Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)
