Job Overview:

Our Distribution Centers are at the core of what we do here at ISN. These teams are responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of all customer orders. The team ensures merchandise is properly received, checked for accuracy, put away into the proper locations, orders are picked and properly packaged for shipment, and that trailers are loaded for on-time delivery. Our Warehouse Generalists perform these functions in a safe and efficient manner working together as a team to meet productivity goals.


What we need from you/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to perform physical demands of warehouse work that includes walking, standing, and lifting repetitively and working in a non climate-controlled environment typical of a warehouse setting
  • Willingness to work assigned schedule based on business needs
  • Prior experience operating warehouse/material handling equipment such as turret trucks, forklifts or cherry pickers is helpful

What You’ll Do/Job Responsibilities:

  • Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as type or product code.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Mark materials with identifying information.
  • Demonstrate good customer service skills with both internal and external customers
  • Opens boxes, crates, and other containers.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to
  • Prepare parcels for mailing or shipping.
  • Maintain inventory records.
  • May utilize a forklift, cherry picker, or other material handling equipment to perform primary duties of load, unload, put away and picking.
