About the Position

MZM Distributions is a wholesale distribution company seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage Amazon FBA shipment preparation, and provide customer service support.

In this role, you will lead warehouse employees, maintain accurate inventory, ensure timely shipments, and assist customers with order questions and delivery issues. You should be comfortable working alongside your team while managing priorities and taking responsibility for daily results.

Prior Amazon FBA experience and experience supervising warehouse employees are required.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations and Amazon FBA

• Organize and oversee daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, labeling, and shipping activities.
• Manage Amazon FBA shipment preparation, including product preparation, labeling, packaging, shipment documentation, and carrier coordination.
• Ensure FBA shipments follow current Amazon requirements and resolve preparation or shipping discrepancies.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and suppliers.
• Monitor shipping deadlines and address delays, shortages, damaged goods, and returns.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and enforce safe material handling and equipment operation.

Team Leadership and Training

• Assign daily workloads and communicate priorities to warehouse employees.
• Work alongside the team as needed to meet operational deadlines.
• Train employees on warehouse processes, safety practices, and quality standards.
• Document, update, and reinforce standard operating procedures.
• Provide performance feedback and address errors through coaching and follow-up.
• Track warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and shipping performance.
• Identify improvements that reduce errors, rework, and processing time.

Customer Service and Administrative Support

• Respond professionally to customer inquiries by phone and email.
• Assist customers with order status, product availability, tracking information, and delivery questions.
• Resolve missing items, incorrect orders, damaged shipments, and returns within company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and follow up on unresolved issues.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and other team members to resolve customer and operational concerns.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, inventory reports, and other operational records.
• Balance customer service responsibilities with warehouse supervision and shipping deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant warehouse operations experience, including direct supervision of warehouse employees.
• At least two years of hands-on Amazon FBA experience.
• Working knowledge of Amazon FBA preparation, labeling, packaging, and shipping processes.
• Experience using warehouse or inventory management software.
• Experience conducting inventory counts and resolving discrepancies.
• Ability to organize daily workloads, train employees, and hold a team accountable.
• Customer service experience, including handling order questions and resolving concerns.
• Clear, professional phone, email, and in-person communication.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale distribution and e-commerce fulfillment.
• Experience managing FBA shipments through Amazon Seller Central.
• Forklift operating experience and certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and operational reporting.
• Experience writing SOPs and improving warehouse processes.
