About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Web Design Intern to help us rebuild our entire website from the ground up. This is not a maintenance role. You'll be working directly alongside our team on a full redesign, including new page layouts, backgrounds and visual direction, a CMS for our content, a database behind it, and fresh hosting for the finished site.

Because our audience is primarily an older demographic, all web designs must be minimalist, clear, and highly intuitive, with a strong focus on trust, readability, and simplicity. The core focus of this role is exceptional design judgment. We build and ship using AI tools, designing with Claude and building and hosting on Lovable, so you'll get to spend your time on the design thinking instead of fighting a page builder. No prior experience with these tools is required, only curiosity and a willingness to learn them fast.

Expect a tight feedback loop. You'll design, we'll review it together, and we'll push it live.

Responsibilities

  • Design clean, highly visual web layouts and digital assets for the new site.
  • Translate design concepts into working pages using Claude and Lovable.
  • Help structure the CMS and content so pages are easy to update over time.
  • Review designs with the team, iterate on feedback, and ship to production.
  • Maintain consistent, highly professional branding across all digital touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team on new pages and campaign landing pages.

Requirements

  • A strong passion for web design, user experience, and digital layouts.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your skills. School, personal, or conceptual projects are accepted.
  • Comfort with modern design tools such as Figma, and an interest in AI assisted building.
  • Basic understanding of how websites are structured, including pages, content, and navigation.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn.
