Global Key Account Manager – Semiconductors

Job Description:

  • Manage key global accounts across a diversified portfolio in the semiconductor industry through technological solutions
  • Understand industry trends and communicate customer needs to the 3M organization
  • Develop customer strategies to grow the business by addressing customer needs
  • Lead customer engagement and business development with a Tier One Semiconductor Manufacturer
  • Develop strategic relationships with R&D teams to understand customer roadmaps, drive design wins, expand business, and increase account influence
  • Partner with technical teams on product acceleration
  • Implement customer strategies aligned with global division strategy across semiconductor applications and product portfolios
  • Align with US and Global EMSD leadership to set and execute operating plans supporting business growth
  • Create solutions for complex problems through customer collaboration, creativity, innovation, and analytical skills
  • Collaborate across global accounts, geographies, cultures, and time zones
  • Use Salesforce to communicate account needs, track progress, and manage delivery of customer solutions
  • Achieve sales quota and price attainment according to the operating plan

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher-level degree in Science or Engineering, completed and verified prior to start
  • Ten (10) years of experience in materials for the semiconductor device fabrication area in a customer-facing role
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product marketing, and regional sales teams
  • Ability to influence without formal authority
  • Two (2) years facing at least one key strategic device manufacturer
  • Current, valid driver’s license
  • Experience in CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) is an additional qualification
  • Experience supporting product introductions, supply and demand, and logistics at key accounts is an additional qualification
  • Hard skills in managing big key accounts, pricing, and contract management
  • Growth mindset, listening, verbal communication, collaboration, conflict management, results focus, entrepreneurial mindset, and negotiation skills
  • May include up to 50% domestic and 10% international travel
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for an employment visa
  • Must provide education and work history in the application
