Learn More.<br><br><strong>About The Job<br><br></strong>The Lead Field Installer leads and assists a field crew responsible for installing, dismantling, loading, unloading, and safely handling Clearspan structures and related components at customer sites and branch locations. This role directs daily field work, supports safe and efficient installation and removal, coaches team members, verifies required documentation, coordinates vehicle/tool readiness, resolves routine jobsite issues, and escalates concerns through the appropriate channels while ensuring work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, WillScot standards, customer requirements, and applicable safety procedures.<br><br><strong>What You'll Be Doing<br><br></strong><ul><li>Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, contractors, customers, and branch personnel while representing WillScot professionally at jobsites and customer locations.[ES1.1]</li><li>Direct, coordinate, and assist a small field crew performing Clearspan structure installation, dismantling, loading, unloading, and site cleanup activities in a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manner.</li><li>Lead Clearspan assembly and disassembly work, including frame components, fabric systems, anchoring, tensioning hardware, keder systems, accessories, and related materials in accordance with manufacturer specifications, site conditions, customer requirements, and WillScot procedures.</li><li>Lead the install, dismantle, and support deployment of Clearspan structures, accessories, and approved Value-Added Products (VAPS) in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.</li><li>Plan and coordinate daily jobsite execution, including site layout, material staging, equipment readiness, crew assignments, work sequencing, load securement, and communication with branch, warehouse, logistics, sales, and field operations teams.</li><li>Develop and execute the install plan, including daily goals, crew assignments, work sequencing, material staging, and jobsite readiness; lead daily toolbox meetings to review safety expectations, work plan, hazards, and priorities.</li><li>Coach, train, motivate, and provide practical feedback to set up technicians and installers; support onboarding, ongoing field training, and positive reinforcement of safe and effective work practices.</li><li>Complete or verify daily paperwork and digital records, including work orders, service orders, inspection sheets, driver logs, customer signoffs, setup documentation, and related field updates, and submit documentation to the appropriate manager or system.</li><li>Maintain safe operation and readiness of assigned trucks, tools, and equipment; ensure required pre-trip, DOT, maintenance, inspection, and service coordination activities are completed according to WillScot procedures.</li><li>Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers, manlifts, boom lifts, stake drivers, and other approved equipment required for structure installation and dismantling while maintaining required operator certifications and authorization cards.</li><li>Identify and resolve routine jobsite, staffing, material, equipment, customer, and installation issues, and escalate matters that require additional support, approval, or corrective action through the appropriate process.</li><li>Inspect structure components, fabric, accessories, tools, equipment, and jobsite conditions before, during, and after installation or removal to identify damage, safety concerns, missing materials, or readiness issues.</li><li>Monitor installation progress against the approved schedule, budget expectations, customer requirements, and WillScot standards; communicate delays, risks, or scope concerns to the appropriate WillScot manager or Project Manager.</li><li>Monitor crew compliance with Federal, State, and local requirements, jobsite safety requirements, PPE standards, hazard awareness practices, lift and equipment procedures, fall protection requirements, load securement, DOT/OSHA expectations, and WillScot safety policies.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Education And Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Three to five years of experience installing, dismantling, or servicing Clearspan structures, temporary structures, tent structures, or comparable field-installed structures required; additional setup and knockdown experience preferred.</li><li>Prior experience directing, mentoring, or coordinating small field crews in construction, equipment rental, temporary structures, field service, or related trade environments required.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to plan daily jobsite execution, assign work, coach team members, verify documentation, maintain tool and vehicle readiness, resolve routine field issues, and escalate concerns appropriately.</li><li>Experience coordinating with customers, contractors, branch personnel, shop teams, sales teams, logistics, and co-workers in a fast-paced field environment preferred.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; proficient hand and power tool use; ability to safely operate or oversee authorized use of forklifts, manlifts, boom lifts, stake drivers, and related equipment as trained and certified.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Clearspan or comparable temporary structure components, assembly sequences, fabric installation, tensioning, securing, anchoring methods, load securement, and material handling requirements.</li><li>Complete, verify, and submit required job-site paperwork, customer documentation, inspection records, and project submittals accurately and on time.</li><li>Must maintain all required operator cards, certifications, and site-specific equipment authorizations necessary to perform assigned work.</li><li>Ability to direct daily work, motivate, coach, train, and provide practical feedback to installers and setup technicians in a positive learning environment.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain rigging, fall protection, lift operation, and other required safety certifications.</li><li>Ability to coordinate jobsite layout, staffing, equipment readiness, material staging, customer communication, documentation, and completion of work orders, service orders, inspection sheets, driver logs, checklists, and field updates using company-approved systems or applications.</li><li>Ability to maintain safe operation and proper working conditions of assigned trucks, tools, and equipment, including completion of pre-trip, DOT, inspection, maintenance, and service coordination requirements.</li><li>Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, issue resolution, and escalation skills for working with customers, contractors, sales teams, branch personnel, shop teams, logistics, and co-workers.</li><li>Ability to apply and reinforce Federal, State, and local requirements, jobsite safety requirements, PPE standards, hazard awareness practices, lift/equipment safety procedures, fall protection requirements, DOT/OSHA expectations, and company safety policies.</li><li>Ability to acquire and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card if required for customer sites, port access, or project-specific assignments.</li><li>Must comply with all company drug-free workplace policies and customer site requirements.</li><li>OSHA 30 certification preferred; ability to obtain OSHA 30 or other required safety training within the timeframe established by WillScot required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience supervising or leading crews in construction, equipment rental, industrial tent installation, temporary structures, field service, or customer-facing jobsite environments.</li><li>Current or prior forklift, manlift, boom lift, OSHA, fall protection, rigging, or other required safety certifications preferred;
