Remote ACA Retention Specialist

About us

Insure Choice is a fast-growing telesales agency that helps people find affordable health coverage through the ACA Marketplace. Our team works remotely, moves quickly, and relies on technology. We're hiring an experienced, results-driven Retention Specialist to protect our book of business and help clients keep their coverage.

The role

You'll own outreach to clients whose policies are at risk: lapsed payments, terminations, missing documents, renewal problems, and carrier changes. You'll figure out what went wrong, fix it, and keep the client covered. Every day you'll work in GoHighLevel, TLD, and HealthSherpa, so you need to be comfortable with all three from the start. You'll be measured on results and expected to report them to leadership.

What you'll do

  • Work daily save queues and lost-policy triggers in GoHighLevel (GHL) through calls, texts, and email
  • Reinstate, re-enroll, or rewrite at-risk policies
  • Clear DMIs and SEP verification issues, and resolve premium payment problems before coverage ends
  • Keep client records, dispositions, and policy status accurate in TLD
  • Help clients through renewals and Open Enrollment so they stay with us
  • Track your save rate, contact rate, and retention metrics, and hold yourself accountable to targets
  • Present retention data, trends, and recommendations to management on a regular basis
  • Work with sales agents and leadership to find and fix the root causes of churn
What you bring

  • 3–5 years of retention experience, in ACA.
  • A proven record of hitting or beating retention and save-rate goals
  • Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel, TLD, and HealthSherpa
  • Strong technical skills: you pick up new systems fast and troubleshoot on your own
  • Comfort pulling, analyzing, and presenting data to management, and turning the numbers into clear next steps
  • A working knowledge of Marketplace rules, including APTC, DMIs, SEPs, grace periods, and reinstatements
  • An active Health license, or willingness to get one quickly
  • A plus is you have no current carrier appointments
  • A clear, confident phone presence and real empathy for clients
  • Self-motivation and organization in a fully remote, metrics-driven role
  • A reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a headset
Nice to have

  • Licensed in more than one state
  • Experience with Open Enrollment volume
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
What we offer

  • 100% remote
  • Pay: $20/hr.
  • 6 paid holidays.
  • A supportive team and room to grow as the agency expands
