JOB SUMMARY:

The Midwest Sales Team is seeking an experienced Account Executive Sr. to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver exceptional service across the region. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, leading account management, project execution, and customer satisfaction initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in account management and sales, along with exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Minnesota (preferred), Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account & Project Management

  • Manage Midwest sales accounts.
  • Lead customer activities including product launches, product qualifications, and specification development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring alignment between customer objectives and internal execution.
  • Prospect for new customers.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Midwest accounts
  • Understand customer needs and translate requirements into actionable plans.
  • Provide timely communication on project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.

Category Management & Strategic Support

  • Utilize knowledge of packaging products, manufacturing capabilities, and industry trends to support customer requests and commercial opportunities.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance related to packaging solutions.
  • Track sales performance against forecast.
  • Support resolution of accounts receivable and aged inventory concerns.

EXPERIENCE & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Packaging, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales, account management or packaging related role.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and customer-facing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to present products, capabilities, and solutions to customers.
  • Experience within packaging, folding carton, consumer products, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Account management experience preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong working relationships.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
