About the role

The Call Center Representative plays an important role in supporting our call center operations, which include collaborating with agents from Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) providers. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in customer service and call center operations, with a focus on learning day-to-day processes and delivering great service to customers.

As a Call Center Representative, you will be part of a remote team working to create value for customers of BizzyCar's software by converting service leads into revenue-generating scheduled and executed appointments. You will report directly to the Assistant Call Center Manager.

What you'll do
  • Respond quickly and professionally to inbound customer text messages regarding vehicle recalls and service needs
  • Convert service inquiries into scheduled appointments
  • Accurately log customer, vehicle, and appointment details across BizzyCar's platform and dealership systems
  • Follow up with unresponsive or incomplete leads to maximize scheduling conversion
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the Assistant Call Center Manager or appropriate team member
  • Develop strong working knowledge of BizzyCar's platform, recall processes, and dealership partner requirements to confidently address customer questions
  • Partner with BPO call center agents to maintain consistent messaging, tone, and service quality across every customer touchpoint
  • Consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics, including response time, conversion rate, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center environment required
  • Experience with SMS/text-based customer service or chat support platforms
  • Proven ability to manage high message/call volume without sacrificing quality or accuracy
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a clear, concise, and professional texting style
  • Comfortable navigating and multitasking across multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently within a remote, distributed team

Nice to Have

  • Track record of meeting sales or conversion quotas in a lead-conversion or appointment-setting role
  • Familiarity with CRM or scheduling software
  • Experience in automotive or dealership operations
