<p><strong>Video Editor, YouTube</strong></p><p><strong>Icon Global Media</strong></p><p>Location: The Colony, TX (On Site)</p><p>Type: Full-Time</p><p>Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why We’re Hiring</strong></p><p>Our company is expanding due to our increasing workload and clientele and we are looking for a talented YouTube Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will assume end-to-end ownership of post-production workflows for key client accounts and internal projects, including content for Bryson DeChambeau’s YouTube channel. This addition is critical for executing additional workload and freeing up capacity across the broader production team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As a YouTube Video Editor at Icon, you will create compelling, polished, and platform-ready videos. In this role, you will work closely with our YouTube post-production team. Overall, this role is meant for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, retention, and audience psychology.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Ingest, organize, sync, label, and manage footage, audio, project files, and assets when needed</li><li>Identify the strongest moments in footage and structure scenes around what will keep viewers watching</li><li>Build selects, multicam sequences, rough cuts, full edit passes, and revision passes.</li><li>Add on-screen graphics, visual effects, transitions, subtitles, tracers, music, sound effects, and other elements</li><li>Perform audio cleanup, leveling, mixing, and polish</li><li>Perform color correction and camera matching to ensure videos look clean consistent, and professional</li><li>Prepare final exports, maintain clean project organization, and follow Icon’s workflow systems, naming conventions, and post-production processes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p><p><strong>Our Must-Haves</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience editing long-form content for a YouTube Channel or Agency</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro</li><li>Strong understanding of YouTube pacing, retention, hooks, structure, and audience engagement</li><li>Strong technical understanding of codecs, frame rates, proxies, exports, project organization, and media management</li><li>Ability to perform color correction and camera matching across multiple cameras</li><li>Experience working with multicam and large volumes of raw media</li><li>Strong audio editing skills, which includes: music selection, sound effects, leveling, and cleanup</li><li>Ability to integrate graphics, text, effects, and basic motion elements into edits</li><li>Experience working under deadlines</li><li>Experience working with teams and multiple stakeholders on a single project or video</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Nice-To-Haves</strong></p><ul><li>Experience editing creator-led, talent-led, or personality-driven content</li><li>Experience with golf & other sports, challenge content, documentary-style, or personality-driven entertainment</li><li>Experience working with top-tier creators, athletes, celebrities, or public figures</li><li>Familiarity with After Effects and basic motion graphics</li><li>Familiarity with YouTube Studio analytics, retention graphs, and performance analysis</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li>A competitive salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (Commensurate with experience)</li><li>Health, Dental, Vision Coverage & Life Insurance (Large portion covered by employer)</li><li>Potential performance-based incentives tied to demonstrated value to the team and division</li><li>Company-provided technology package</li><li>Relocation assistance where applicable</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Work for Icon Global Media</strong></p><p>Working at Icon Global Media means joining a team driven by one core mission: “Create the best content possible and have a lot of fun doing it.” Here, you’ll collaborate with high-profile athletes, celebrities, and brands to build content and IP that truly resonates with digital audiences.
